Robert Hooker Obituary
Robert Alfred Hooker, died on May 2, 2011. He was born in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin; daughter, Robin; and wife, Laurel. Robert (Bob) served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a flying officer in the European Theatre. Robert worked for Ford Motor Co., moving to Michigan in 1950 and served on the Engineering Staff until 1980, retiring to Fountain Hills, AZ in 1981. There he served with The Maricopa Deputy Sheriff's Posse. He also belonged to the Kiwanis, VFW, and American Legion organizations. He is survived by his sister, Lillian Kuiken; nephew, Dean Kuiken; and niece, Candy Kuiken. Services will be held on May 6, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. Viewing will take place one hour prior. www.greenacresmortuary.net
