Patterson, Lucille
Lucille Patterson, age 96, died April 30, 2011 in Mesa, Arizona. Lucille was born April 12, 1915 in Greenfield, Iowa to Frank and Avis Lillie. On September 18, 1938 she married George (Pat) Patterson. They moved to West Point Nebraska in 1946 after purchasing West Point Creamery. They owned and operated Patterson Dairy Foods until retiring to Mesa, Arizona in 1971. She is survived by her children John (Luana) Patterson, Mesa, Mary Katherine (Bill) Helget, Omaha, and Patty (Mike) Knobbe, West Point, two granddaughters: Suzanne Helget (Scott) Kerr, Omaha, Jessica Knobbe, Chicago,and one step-grandson, Jack Sheldon, Mesa ; three great grandchildren, and a sister in law, Leona Lillie. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, daughter, Sister Mary Laura (Theresa) in 1968, one sister Theresa and two brothers George and Francis. A funeral mass was held on May 3rd at Holy Cross Church in Mesa. The family requests memorials to the Servants of Mary Convent in Omaha, Nebraska.
