My Mom passed away April 7, 2011 with her 3 daughters by her side.
My Mother was a great lady, and will be greatly missed. She is gone to heaven but no forgotten. She is on my mind,in my heart, & with me everyday.
Not only was she a great Mother, but a wonderful Grandmother.
My Mom raised 3 girls on her own with the help of my Grandparents. At one time she worked 2 jobs & went to school to become a nurse, and was an RN until she retired. My Mom taught me work ethic, and that you can have anything you want if you try hard enough. She worked hard, & went through hard times but made it through it all, and did well for herself and her children. My Mom taught me to put others before yourself, and that your family is the most important thing. No matter what I ever did or put her through she was always there for me no matter what with open arms, and the one person I could always truly count on. My Mother taught me the importance of forgiveness,& how not only to forgive others but to be able to forgive yourself, as she said she learned from her parents. When there was happy or sad news she was the first one I would call. One of the few people I can honestly say was truly happy when I was happy, and felt sadness when I was sad. My Mother made me the woman I am today, and I'm proud to be like her in so many ways. She taught me to be caring, selfless, and to always put your children first, and to be there for them no matter what, & that I can do anything if I set my mind to it. My Mom was always joking,& had a great sense of humor. Her smile could light up a room. She was caring, giving, and a hard worker in her life, and an outstanding role model & Mother. One tough lady she was. She is in a better place now still watching over the ones she loves. I love and miss her more than words could ever say. But I know God only takes the best.

If roses grow in heaven then pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss on her cheek and hold her for awhile.
