Julian Clark Obituary

Clark, Julian H.
78, born June 9, 1932, returned to our Lord April 29, 2011. His loving wife, Carol; six children, Kelly, Julian, Kirsten, Star, Faye and Ryan; and 11 grandchildren survive him.
Julian was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Julian and Frances Clark. He served as an officer in the Marines for three years where he ran a rifle range at Paris Island. In 1958, Julian completed a five-year architectural program at Georgia Tech. He worked as an architectural illustrator for more than 52 years, first in Atlanta, then in Phoenix. In 2010, Julian retired and dedicated his days to woodcarving and art. Julian was a gifted artist and sculptor, political aficionado, and an outdoor enthusiast who loved hiking the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. Julina had a love of life which could be seen in his smile and heard from his big booming laugh. We will miss you. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 14, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, 5510 North Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ, 85012. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wellness Community, www.twccaz.org. Arrangements entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, Inc.

It was an honor to be part of Julian's life. As a health care provider, I see many patients, and he was truly such a treausure with his positive attitude and outlook on life. He passed joy along to others. We at Desert Valley will truly miss him, and we pray for the peace of God to surround you today and in the times to come.
