Charles Roberts Obituary

Roberts, Charles Jr.
of Royal Oak. May 3, 2011 at 90 years of age. Loving husband of Eunice for 58 years. Beloved father of Gary (Corry) and Glenn (Valerie). Cherished grandfather of Heather, Justin (April) and Alan. Charles was born, and grew up in Detroit. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Force where he flew stateside, training as a waist gunner in B17 aircraft. He was also a proud retiree of Michigan Bell Telephone. Dad loved building and flying model airplanes and enjoyed spending winters at their residence in Deer Valley, Az. He was proud of his family and especially devoted to mom, who left us just 43 days before dad. He missed her terribly. We rejoice in the fact that they are together again. We love you both. Rest in peace. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements handled by COATS FUNERAL HOME, WATERFORD.
