Leonadis Story Obituary

Story, Leonadis Bartlett
Leonadis Bartlett Story age 90 passed away of natural causes, Wednesday May 4th 2011, with his family at his side. Lee was born in Denver, Colorado June 10th, 1920 and raised in Wyoming. He served 4 years in the Army Air Force as a volunteer joining December 12th, 1941. Most of that time was spent in England where he served as an airplane mechanic. Lee graduated from Denver University in 1951 with a degree in Business Administration. He and Margaret Mary Diamond Story raised three children in Texas and Illinois. He retired from the State of Illinois in 1980 and spent his last 31 years in Florida, Wyoming, and Arizona. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Margaret. Lee is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Marianne Thomas Story, his sons Daniel Story (Pam) and Michael Story, daughter Marian Diamond (Michael), four grandchildren, Daniel (Jessica) and Angela Story, Max and Abby Koepke, and one great granddaughter, Jade Story. Lee was a member of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. Services will be held in Akron, Colorado at a later date. Family requests contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, Fund Development, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, Arizona 85014. You will forever be remembered by the lives you have touched. Love you mucho mucho.
