Jose Ortega Obituary
64, Jose Mercedes Hernandez - Ortega, born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on September 24, 1946, went to heaven to join his wife on May 6, 2011. Beloved father, grandfather and a hard worker. He is survived by his children Tesera, Angelica, Sagrario, Jose Jr., Jose Thomas, Maria Felicitas, Marina Ramirez; five step children and 13 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm, Wednesday, May 11, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 909 E. Washington St., Phoenix. Interment to follow at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix.
