Gwen was my aunt and as an early teenager, she always had a happy smile for me and we had many a fun time when I would visit the country home in Luling, She could make the lightest breakfast biscuits I ever have tasted, and I like some others of my family would always request them. She loved her children and family and doted on her two grandchildren. I have a portrait of her in our home and everyone that passes by it remarks on how beautiful she looks in it. I know she would swell with pride and thanks if she could hear them. I loved my aunt and will miss her.

Gwen was my nurse & over my CNA class in 89'& 90' when I became a CNA. She was a beautiful lady who loved her family, God, nursing & Texas. When I ran into her around town she always had that big smile and a friendly hello. She aways wanted to know what was happening in my life. She will be missed.

Gwen was a co-worker for several years. We had many laughs. Gwen was always sharing stories about her family and Grandchildren and was so proud of them. She was kind, caring and loving and all her residents loved her. God bless you Gwen. You are no longer in pain.My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

Gwen was a friend who loved just because she wanted to. We would do well to learn by her example. She will be missed by those of us who loved her, but knowing she is with our Lord will make it easier to cope.

I am saddened to hear of Gwen's passing. We had a lot of fun working together at Cook Health Care in the 90's. She was a caring, loving person whose only fault was her love for the Cowboys. My prayers for the family she loved so very much and bragged about often.

My thoughts & prayers to all of Gwen's family. She loved her family & was always talking about them at work. She always had great fun stories to share about Aja and shared pictures of her little grand-daughter & art pictures she drew for her "gran-gran".
Rest in peace, Gwen.
