Ruth Cohen Obituary
Cohen, Ruth, 87, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away May 11, 2011. Ruth was born to Ida and Morris Belkin in Holyoke, Mass. She graduated from Holyoke High School and wed Daniel Cohen, May, 1941. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Ida and Morris, son, Bradford, husband, Daniel, brother, Sam Belkin and sister Florence Orlen. She is survived by her daughters Lois Cohen and Doreen Murray, son-in-law Bill Murray and daughter-in-law, Razelle Cohen; grandchildren, Tray Murray, Rachel Murray, Peter Murray, Ronald Cohen and Randi Battenfield and her husband Mark, as well as 6 great grandchildren, Noah, Brady & Samantha Battenfield, Madison Becker, Morgan and Marin Cohen. Ruth loved to travel, read, walk and play Mahjong, but her greatest joy was her family. She will be missed. Graveside services will be held 9:30 AM Friday, May 13, 2011 at Green Acres, Gon Ohav Memorial Garden, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. www.greenacresmortuary.net

So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. She was a wonderful woman. My prayers are with you.

So sorry to read of the passing of Ruth.She was Gloria's Matron of Honor on October 4th, 1942 and Dan was my best man. We are now living in a retirement community. Stanford Cohen
