So sorry for your loss and even though we never got to know him personally, how we have been blessed by our dear friend, his daughter, Linda. God bless you all as you grieve his passing. So sorry we could not be there for the memorial service, but you were in our thoughts and prayers. Hope to talk to you soon, Linda. Blessings,
Sarah and Bill Kohler

I had the privilege of being Bill and Doris Mapes physician at Mayo Clinic for many years. I always enjoyed seeing both of them. They were a great couple and wonderful people. My heartfelt condolences to Doris and her family,

Aunt Doris, Sandy, Linda, and all the grandchildren and great grandchildren,
I know how much you will miss him, as will I. Even though time and distance did not allow us to spend much time with you over the years, I always loved the time I did get to spend with Uncle Bill in Arizona. I'm so glad we got to see him last summer. He was one the happiest, funniest, most optimistic people I've ever known! I'm sure that he, Mom and Ken are having some wonderful times catching up, now that they are all together again. My heart is with you all, and I hope it brings a small measure of comfort to know that I will always hold him close in my heart.
Love to you all,
Jim & Doris Flannigan
