Dear Beck Family, the celebration of life for Lindy was beautiful and perfect in every way. Although he left us much too early in his life, he made the most of every day he lived. He was an amazing person with a heart of gold, adventurous spirit, and remarkable sense of humor. He will be missed dearly, but all of our hearts will be filled with wonderful memories of the joy and fun times he brought to our lives.

Thanks to all who shared in Lindy's "Celebration of Life" with us. Your love for LB is overwhelming. I know he was smiling (or laughing!) down at us and enjoyed seeing all his friends and family come together to celebrate his life. Thanks to all - for everything. We will cherish these memories forever.

Lindy, to a one and a million kind of guy! I remember you coming over to my house and hanging out with my brother. Since I was the younger sister, I would follow Mike and all his friends around like a little puppy dog, because, you were my first crush. Thanks for always letting me hang out with you and Mike's other friends even when Mike told me to get lost. Heaven has a new angel now, you are missed. Love, Michele

Lindy, just got back from your furneral buddy, and there were some great stories told and wonderful things said about you. One of the most pleasurable funerals I have ever attended. I'm so thankful to have gotten the pleasure to work with you at Murphy & Posner, and have so many great memories of laughter and fun and friendship. God bless you, and your wonderful family who loves you dearly.

Lindy, you were so kind to my me and my children and i will be forever greatful for that. Jake could not wait for his "Uncle Lindy" to show up to family events. he enjoyed the play times you had so much! I only wish that Ian could have known you because i'm sure he would have loved you just as much as Jake. It wont be the same for any of us with you gone. I do know that Heaven is a much better place with you in it. We will miss you forever.

Thanks for being an amazingly fun uncle and funny person; you taught me many things over the years including the value of a good laugh! So many great memories of you, and they all make me smile, there's not many people whom that can be said about...Its evident how very loved you were outside of our family as well. Thank you for being not only my uncle but as I grew older, a good friend to me and to my husband Nick. And thank you for your never tiring patience and kindness toward Jake, he adored you and always looked forward to seeing his Uncle Lindy! We all miss you so much and love you dearly. You will be very very missed in our house. I promise to teach Jake to be an awesome practical joker in honor of you and Papa. Thanks for the memories. Love you LB!

LB my roommate for several years. The memories of our time together were always filled with joy and laughter, collecting comics, baseball cards, skate boarding, listening and dancing to music. You are a great friend, fraternity brother and I am blessed to have known you.

I was so saddened to hear of Lindy's passing. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared with him. I have fun memories of playing with him , as children, when you came back to visit us in Kansas. Later I was grateful to reconnect with him as I spent time in Arizona. Whenever I think of Lindy I'm reminded of his great sense of humor. He got that from UNCLE BOB who was one of the funniest people I've ever known. Lindy was a lot like Bob but I saw another side , let's say a softer side, that was nurtured by his amazing mother Shirley who was there for him right up to the end.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Wish I were there to celebrate a life well lived. May you find PEACE and COMFORT at this most difficult time.

Lindy and I were roommates for several years during my time at Arizona State. I have so many fond memories of laughter, friendship and mischief making. LB, thanks for all the hysterical moments, great adventures, the wonderful people you introduced me to, and for all those damn comic books and trading cards you made me buy! Most importantly, during that trying time in my life, you were always there as a source of calm and security, my voice of reason. For this my friend, I can never thank you enough.

Lindy was truly one of the nicest guys I have ever known. He was a great guy to work with. He always had a great sense of humor, like hiding the fake mouse for his co-workers to find.

Miss you LB.

Lindy, "LB" and I had so much fun together. I remember nothing but great memories, roaring laughter, incredible wit, blazing sarcasm, and the joy of a valid friendship. I don't recall a dull moment with Lindy!

May 18, 2011

LB and I worked together from 2001 til 2008 - the last 3+ yrs in the same office. I grew to love him as a friend. There was never a day without laughter caused by him, his "duck walk" that passed gas (fake), hearing him end every call with "thank you my friend", taking his mail to him and seeing him wearing a FedEx cardboard envelope on his head while he worked or tears streaming down our faces together as we watched a tribute to Steve Irwin when he died. LB was so special! Everyone loved him. Daily we'd share pudding cups together and conquer the worlds problems or just our own, and wonder "what is that thing growing in that plant" we bought from the 99 cent store? We rode in NASCAR race cars together - he was so "up" for it until it was time for him to get in the car then he was scared and said he couldn't do it - we told him "get in the car Lindy" and he said "I think I might mess my pants" and we said "GET in the car Lindy" and he finally did - when he got done going 140 mph around the turns and got out, he looked like Superman he was so proud! All I can say from the bottom of my heart is, God really took a good one this time!

We will miss you forever LB - and may God give your family the strength to carry on without you.
