Chiyeko Kimura Obituary

Kimura, Chiyeko
96, passed away on May 10th, 2011. She was born on January 18th, 1915 in Watsonville, CA to Senzo and Yukano Yoshii. An active member of the Starlight Woman's Club and the Arizona Buddhist Temple, Chiyeko was known for her cooking, crafts, and sewing expertise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Yoshiju Kimura, and brothers, Masayuki and Henry Yoshii. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn (Satoshi) Nakamura; grandchildren, Austin and Alyson (Larry) Nakamura; and sister, Yuriko Yamaguchi; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N 59th Ave, Glendale Az from 5-7pm on Sunday, May 15th. Funeral services will be held at Arizona Buddhist Temple, 4142 W. Clarendon Avenue in Phoenix, at 10:30 am on Monday, May 16th. For more info please visit www.chapelofthechimesmortuary.com
