It has been many years since I have seen Don. He was my regular customer at Big Apple when I worked there. I always enjoyed talking to him. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.May your many memories help get you through this sad time.

My Favorite story too just like Aaron's, when you pulled over Loren Greene on that long stretch of hwy. between CA and AZ. I can hear you telling that story with your quiet little chuckle, how Loren Greene got mad at you because you didn't treat him with any speciallity, and you gave him a speeding ticket anyway! I have told that story many times. I was always proud to say that my Uncle was an Arizona Hwy. Patrolman. Our thoughts and love are with your family.

Such great times we had together, so many memories stand out..one being is when we hiked Squaw Peak years & years ago. Jim was way ahead (as usual) & you stayed back with me. I was so exhausted & ready to stop, you were encouraging me on, I turned & said to you.."There better be a bar at the top of this damn mountain!" You smiled & winked at me saying "I'll buy you a drink at the top" I miss you dear father-in-law xoxo

I can Remember Uncle Sonny best sitting in Aunty Graces house in his Uniform just after he got off duty. My best story was when he pulled over Loren Green ( from Bonanza) . I can remember sitting in the living room talking with him. I also loved climbing Pikes peak with him. I am glad i got to see you and say good by. You are with the Lord now. I love you and will miss you. Love to all the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
