I knew Chief Parham back at Luke AFB, AZ. He was my chief and I was his Lt. He was one of the best and most memorable people I met when I was in the AF. I have so many fond memories of him. May his life be a blessing to us all. I miss you. Lisa (formerly Capt Ross)

For the Lord himslf will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel nd with the trumphet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each othere with these words. 1 Thes 4:16-18

Before I really knew Jim, I thought he was a corney guy, because he didn't live the lifestyle that I lived, but after being around Jim, I realized I was the corney guy, and wanted to try to pattern my lifestyle after him. I told many people, Jim was my hero, but I'm so glad I had the oppotunity to tell him myself. Jim you are my "HERO" Love and miss you. Your Brother, Amin.

It's been an honor,a privilege, a blessing, and a pleasure, to have been Jim's sister for 61 years.I'm so grateful to God, for giving me Jim. He's been one of the most valuable gifts, I've ever been given. Jim loved his wife Gwen, and his church family immensly. He's been a fantastic brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. Jim has touched so many peoples lives, in such positive ways. He was a mentor to all. Rest in peace, my brother. Love you, Aneesah

On behalf of our entire family, we want to extend our deepest and sincere thankfulness for your overwhelming acts of kindness and thoughtfulness during the illness of our love one, James Dexter Parham, Jr. Words cannot describe how you manned the battlefield with James, until his ultimate transition to glory. You were there every step of the way, and for that we will be eternally grateful.
We know that Dexter is in a better place now, and he fought a good fight, he ran his race, but now he’s in the hands of our God. We thank you for your continuous prayers for Dexter, and we ask that you continue to pray for our family, and we will pray for you and yours. May God bless you and keep you, and let his face shine upon you, now and forever more.

God has whispered into the hearts and minds of Jim's most dearest friends and allowed all of us who knew him to be part of his life story. He was blessed to have left this world knowing that he was truly loved by all those near and dear to him. These tears of sorrow being shed are all gifts from God, that ceaseless Holy water that heals all who believe. Jim celebrated life and we were blessed to be part of his pathway to Heaven.

I had the great pleasure of working beside Jim the last year I was at CSK, he never missed a morning greeting and sharing funny stories of the job fairs or the funny emails he would get, we would trade those often. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family and God very much. He often said he was the lucky one to be married to his lovely wife when ever someone commented on her luck to be married to such a wonderful man. He was very proud of his children and often bragged of them. He is truely a great man and I am so proud to have been cosidered his friend.

I had the pleasure of knowing Jim when he attended my Job Fairs here at MMI for the past 10yrs. I could just tell he was a good man, husband and father. He spoke of his family often. I’m going to miss him very much, but I know he has gone home to a better place and that I will see him again. What a day that will be!

If a man is measured by the impact he made on others--then "Chief" you're headed for Sainthood. I will truly miss you. The world down on earth is missing one of its angel, but you have joined your #1 bud and no one can be unhappy about that. I wish your family the best! You have always been and will remain my hero!!!
