Carol Rutherford Obituary
Carol Sue Bennett Rutherford passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Mesa, Arizona. Carol was born June 20, 1929 in Sweetwater, Texas to Noreen Daisy Cox Bennett and Wilford Edward Bennett. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew George Rutherford, Sr., January 15, 2000. They were long time residents and owners of several Mesa businesses. Survivors include, Andrew George, Jr., Cynthia Ann Toliver, Karen Sue Buechle, Carol Rita Rutherford and Justin. Additional survivors include her brother James Shattles of Colorado, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation for a memorial park bench. Kay Buechle is accepting those donations, 41887 N. Rattlesnake Rd., Queen Creek, AZ 85140. A Memorial Service planned by Carol's children is pending at Meldrum Mortuary.
