Florence Smith Obituary
88, of Glendale, AZ passed away on May 9, 2011. Florence was raised in Buckeye with two brothers and four sisters. She met US Army Lieutenant AD Smith and married on September 16, 1943. They raised six children. As an Army wife, Florence traveled throughout the US and was stationed in Japan for several years. Florence and AD celebrated their 50th Anniversary shortly before his death in 1993. She is survived by her sisters Margaret Jackman and JoAnne VanLiere; children Cecelia Friese, AD Jr. (Beverly), Allison, Tony (Diana), Donna and Shelley (Jeff Keeling); nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Contributions to Sun Valley Hospice at 7227 E. Baseline Rd, #129, Mesa, AZ 85209.
