Roberta Tenney Obituary
88, of Peoria, AZ passed away on May 7, 2011. Roberta, known as 'Bobbie' to her friends, was the first secretary hired at K & K Insurance in Fort Wayne, IN by founders Nord and Teddy Krauskopf. She worked for K & K beginning in 1960 officially retiring in 1987. She continued to work part-time until 1999. Bobbie was known to all for her friendly approach to others, her love of travel, and love of family. Survivors include her only daughter, Ann (Minor) Brandt-Williams, her son-in-law Steve Williams, her two granddaughters, Laran and Alyssa Brandt, her brothers Philip Townsend and Kenny Townsend, Services will be held at Best Funeral Services, Inc-West Valley Chapel, 9380 West Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ on May 16. Visitation from 9:00AM with a short service at 12:00 PM in the small chapel. Interment will follow Roberta's final resting will occur at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 West Northern Ave. in Glendale, AZ. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to one of the following: First United Methodist Church, 9849 N 105th Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351; Susan G. I was so surprised to read in our prayer list at church today of the passing of Roberta Tenney. She and I had often corresponded since she had moved away. I have even received calls from her. I am so sorry I was not aware of her illness. She was in my circle for many years.
