Especially to Norma: Hi Norma. I just got the news from the "Super Sabre Society" about Stans's move West. I flew with Stan with the 492nd TFS at RAF Lakenheath, and remember him well. It's almost impossible to believe how fast the time has gone. I remember when Stan jumped out of an F-100F with Del Carnes, and unfortunately, Del did not survive. I know that a lot of air has passed beneath Stan's wings since those days, and I certainly have lost touch during that time.

I send my heartfelt condolences to you, Norma, as well as to the rest of Stan's family. I remember Stan well, and I pray that each of you will pass through this valley of grief and come out on the other side and into the "sunshine". May the Good Lord lead you through this time of recovery, granting you overflowing grace.

Blessings...Gary Kosak (492nd TFS, 48th TFW)

A lot of Americans who served in Vietnam are still alive today due to Uncle Stan's heroism as a fighter pilot. A true American hero.
