After just getting this news of Rick's passing, I wanted to convey my sincere condolences to the Haupert Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. It being years since I have spoke to the family, we grew up in the same neighborhood, I always knew Rick as being a kind soul.

My deepest condolences go to Dee and her family.
I knew Rick through Dee. They lived on Fillmore and 32nd street, neighbors of Michelle Cipolla. We all went to Crockett school.
Little did I know Rick lived in my vicinity,it's so ironic because a while back I saw the guy from 3 on your side and his name is similar to Haupert but without the T.
I can honestly say I thought of Rick and wondered what ever happened to the Haupert family.
So when I picked up the West valley view paper, I came across the obituaries and came across Rick's name, I'm very sorry for your loss.
To the Haupert family, please know that you have been in my thoughts and now.... so ever more.
God Bless you all.
As for Dee,I hope that you can remember me. if you will call me or text or email me, I would love to play catch up. I have Michelle's #, we would love to see you or talk with you.My # is 602 818-4376 my email [email protected]
Take good care
It's me Terrie (Fierros) Lucero

I have known Rick since he started hanging out with the Phoenix Jaycees Comancheros that his brother in law Larry Snipes dragged him to way back in the early '90's!! He was always nice to me and I really appreciate that in him! I will miss seeing him at Comanchero events but he really is at peace now and in no more pain! The last time I saw him was back in December 2010 for a fundraiser dinner for the Underprivileged Children's Christmas party. He didn't look good but was in good spirits! I will always remember that about him!

Our hearts and prayers goes out to the family. Rick will be missed. It just won't be the same not seeing him around the neighborhood, at the pony express banquit & ride, but most of all with his buddy & brother Larry. Rest in peace Rick.
