To all of Aunt Donna's family, I wish I could be with all of you during this time of sorrow. Knowing that someday we will all see her again is a consolation to me in some way. I can only try to remember the good times I have shared with each of you,the conversations we have had and remember that God had to have a special plan for Aunt Donna. I will continue to remember you all in my thoughts and prayers. You are all very close to my heart even though not close in miles.

My deepest condolences to the Determann family; you all will be in my prayers.
I feel the need to recognize that as a woman she truly balanced strength, wisdom and kindness in a way many women struggle with. She didn't compromise but showed grace, took charge and yet submitted; and you knew all that in one conversation with her. I am blessed to know this family, and I know she will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss. Even though I didn't know Donna well, I still remember the night I stayed with the family over 20+ yrs ago, when Kathy & I drove home from college. Donna made a very big impression on me, even though it was one time. May God give you peace & comfort during this time.

I will never forget the kindness of Donna as she and her husband extended their welcome to my family and I as we were new to the state of AZ from CA. We didn't have any family in AZ but wonderful friends like Kathy and her family to invite us over to her parents home for Thanksgiving. What a wonderful, giving woman, to offer strangers into her home. But this was just like Donna. A very caring soul. Her love for her animals goes beyond speaking. Buddy, was just like a son to her. He went everywhere with her. I know he will feel the loss of his mommy like everyone else will feel the loss of this unique and loving individual. Enjoy your new healthy body. Rest in Peace, Donna.
