Jack Mallernee Obituary

Mallernee, Jack
78, of Sun City, Arizona passed away on May 2, 2011. Jack Mallernee was born on February 16, 1933 in Canton, Ohio to the late Charles C. Mallernee and Azalia Opal (Jenkins) Mallernee. He served in the United States Air Force before moving to Phoenix, Arizona, where he met Doris Ann (Wetzel) Mallernee, and they wed on October 16, 1957. He worked for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Department of Energy. He loved his family, and always put his family first. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Candy Mallernee of Peoria, Arizona; his son-in-law, Walter McGaffic of Tucson, Arizona; his sister, Louise Kessler of Canton, Ohio; nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Mallernee; his daughter, Cheryl Mallernee McGaffic; his sister, Helen Virginia Kerr; his brother, Warren O. Mallernee; and his brother, Charles L. Mallernee. We love you and miss you, and your memory lives in our hearts forever. A memorial service to celebrate the lives of Jack and Doris Mallernee will be held on May 24 at 4 p.m. at Advantage Golden Door Chapel, 11211 W. Michigan Avenue, Youngtown, AZ 85363.
