Darrell Ostrander Obituary
74, surrounded by his family, passed from this earth on Friday, May 13, 2011. Viewing will be on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:30 a.m. at the Sunrise United Methodist Church located at 19234 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona located at 23029 North Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024.

Dear Colleen,
I was very saddened to learn of the loss of your father today. This is the first I have heard about it. Darrell was a great tenant, and always fun to talk to, although we hadn't spoken for quite some time. I had just been thinking of going by and saying hi recently. I had driven by numerous times, but didn't stop in. If you see this, please get in touch with me re: Hartford. Even though it's more than a month later, my prayers are with you and your family. I know Darrell dearly loved his granddaughter; she was the reason he moved in next door, as I recall! Thanks

Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss. Darrell was a wonderful person and I enjoyed our carpool days to Palo Verde and our many conversations. He was a great guy and I will truly miss him. May you all find comfort in your fond memories of him, for I will always think of him when I see Palo Verde. With sympathy.

Dear Curtis and Colleen, Please accept my deepest condolences on the lost of your wonderful father. I first met Darrell in 1979, when he served as a labor rep on the JATC. My initial impression of him was, What a Class Act!� In all the years that have followed, I never had any reason to change my opinion of him. He was very special, a pleasure to be around, a true straight shooter, and a man of great integrity. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him.
