Olga Malone Obituary

Malone, Olga
was born on November 19, 1928 in Tucson, Arizona to her parents Vincente and Elisa Alfaro, and is the youngest of the family. Olga passed away peacefully on May 16, 2011, at Hospice of the Valley, Dobson Home, in Chandler, Arizona. Olga was preceded in death by her husband, William Malone, and her brothers Armando Alfaro and Gilbert Alfaro. She is survived by Vicente Alfaro Jr. and her sister, Odalmira [Olie] Elias. She leaves two sons, Arnold R. [Sheri] Canales and James Canales. She also leaves five grand-children, Arnold R. III, Mateo, Bianca, Joseph and Malia Canales. In addition, she leaves 4 great grand-children and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by 6 nieces and 6 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. Olga was a bookkeeper for a Kelly Tire Company in Long Beach, CA, where she later married William Malone. She later moved to Washington where she lived in Everett. She moved back to Long Beach where she worked and retired as a bookkeeper from Altrafilters. After retirement she moved back to Tucson, Arizona. Olga has been a resident for a number of years at Emeritus Chandler, often referred to as Village Oaks in Chandler, AZ. Olga will be missed by friends and family alike. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2011 at 5:00 PM at the Temple Emmanuel, 5801 South Rural Road, Tempe, AZ 85283-2901. Bueler Mortuary

Mom,

Here’s knowing that you are no longer in pain or worried about your health. Both Sheri and I will miss you dearly. Now, as a family, we need to move on, but not forget all the wonderful things we did as a family. Your Memorial on the 21st of May was just beautiful, with great memories of our life as a family. Your friends and family all expressed their love for you. We will cherish all those moments for the rest of our life.
