We all grew up together on Lincoln St. with the Martinez the Garcia's the Santa Cruz's and us the Valverde's. I see Timbo all the time at Bingo. We the Valverde's are so sorry for your lost.

I've known Roy since he was a young kid hanging out on the barrio streets. He always had a smile and a easy-going nature. R.I.P

Roy was one of my best friends since we were the 2nd grade together in 1955
He was so smart that our teacher wanted to double promote him to the 4th grade
His dad did not approve it but I always wondered how much progress he would have accomplished if he was allowed to go on his own pace!!
He could play the clarinet like a pro. I wish he would have pursued it more.
He loved to see comedians tell thier jokes.
Many times id have to ask him the punch lines cuz hed get them before I could figure them out
his favorite comedian was Richard Prior

He never was a bully or trouble maker in school even tho with his great physical strength he could easily hurt others that would pick on him.
