I have written you so many times of my sorrow of losing you. Words can never express my feelings. Only now YOU know my love for you and what you always meant to me in life. Such a sister! A few notes I wrote to you in your FB messages, I know you see. I love you, Joan and forever will miss you. You took a piece of my heart the day you left. Till we meet again, give Mother, Ellis, & all our family a hug & kiss for me. Love forever & a day. Katie

Well my sweet sis, my birthday came & went with no call from you. I sure missed it! We always called each other and especially for our birthdays, remember? The ache in my heart just keeps aching and the tears in my eyes keep falling as I remember you so much day after lonely day. I love you, Joan & no words can tell the emptiness in my heart without you here. Give all a big hug for me, till I see you soon. Love you forever & a day. Katie

Some days it seems so hard not to see or talk with you here on earth, but I can't bring myself to "wish you back" to this mess here. I miss you so much, my sweet, darling sister, and forever will. Only knowing that you are out of pain and resting in the sweet arms of JESUS, makes my happy for you. Loving you forever and a day. Katie

Well it has been so long sweetheart since I wrote on here, or it seems to be a long time. I love & miss you even more & more as the days slip to weeks & weeks to months. I know you are having a ball up there, so I won't wish you back with us, but oh Joan, how I miss you! I found "our song" on YouTube and was so happy! Loving you forever and a day, sis. Hey sis! It has been so long now (almost 3 mo.) since I last talked to you on your birthday. The last birthday on earth for you and then you will celebrate the next in heaven! Oh how happy you must be! You have it made in the shade, while we still have our "dark valley" to go through! I miss you & cry for you but I guess it is selfish of me, huh? I know that you wouldn't give one second being up there for all of your lifetime upon earth, so enjoy it sweetie! I will see you soon. It won't be long. I love you forever & a day, sweet sis. Katie

Hey sis, isn't it just the coolest thing to see JESUS and now to "know" all the things we wondered & talked about? I am so happy for you, no more pain, no more heartaches, no earthly tribulations for you! Just joy and peace with our LORD & GOD! I know how we would talk for hours on the phone or together about heaven and how you asked the last time: "But Katie, how can we be really sure?" After I told you all about the testimonies in our family and who had which one, you were so excited! Now you are with them and I still have my dark valley to go by myself. I love you sis & can't wait to gather with everyone there & we can go dancing on the Milky Way together. I love you forever & a day sweet sis. Your little sis, Katie

my love and prayers go out to each and every family member of my aunt joans. i kno we r suppose to cry at a birth and rejoice at a death but its so hard to do that wen u love someone so much but i kno that you r with our heavenly father now and u will no longer have to endure the heartaches and disappointments of the world for u r truly happy now and suffering no more and for that we should b so happy for u my dear and really deep down inside we r but on the outside we show our sorrow and grieve for our lost loved one. but i have faith and assurance in knowing that one day we will all be together in our heavenly fathers house and we will all b so happy and full of life and love just in knowing that it will never ever ever end again like it did on this earthly place we live today. you my dear aunt joan were a terriffic and wonderful inspiring person to me and to all those that knew you as we all did. my love to you always and forever.

Hi there Aunt Joan. I know that you are in an even more happier place now. I can't wait to see you again. So instead of saying "good-bye" which I know you didn't like to do, I'll just say I love you & will see you later. Mom, Dad and everyone else miss you greatly.
