I worked w/Scott at KSYG in Little Rock. I just found out about this. My heart is heavy. I'll never forget his trade-mark sign-off and the things he did to encourage me.

I met Scott when I published a rock paper in Chicago in the early '70s. I did an interview with him about his group Gibralter. The title of the article was "Gibralter is one Big Rock". And Scott was that rock -- then and I'm sure now in passing. He was larger than life and a sweet soul with a pure heart. My heart goes out to Mary and his family. To the rest, I wish you knew him as a friend, as I did. YoHarHar Scott. YoHarHar. Mary will understand. Terry

I'm so sad to hear this news. Loved talking with Scott on Mesa Talking, it was a pleasure to know him - he was one of a kind, so curious and interested in everything. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
