Haines, Dorothy "Poppie" M.
(nee Baron), 81, of Westbrook Village in Peoria, AZ, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011, at Memorial Hospital Pembroke in Pembroke Pines, FL. Born on November 18, 1929, in Lansing, MI, "Poppie" grew up in Logan, WV, and lived in Elizabeth and Linden, NJ, for 45 years before moving to Peoria, AZ in 1993. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at several firms in New York City and retired from Control Data Corporation, Rahway, NJ, in 1992. The beloved wife of the late Benson "Jim" Haines, "Poppie" was also the loving daughter of the late Frank and Mattie Baron and sister of the late Joe Baron. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gale and Ivan Fortin of Miramar, FL. Services are private following cremation.

in memory of my dear dear friend...you were such a major influence in the life of my son and i. when we last spoke you asked that i never forget about
you..and i never will..i remember you telling me
that you loved me. i will always love you like a
second mother...i will always remember that little
twinkle in your eyes..and your wonderful kindness
s. to know you was indeed to love you...you were
one of the few people in my life as you would say
"knew where the bodies were hurried". we had such fun at control data and years beyond. i will miss you. may god forever keep you in his arms.
