Ellen Rutledge Obituary
of Mesa, Az, died peacefully at Hospice of the Valley, Phx. Az, May 17, 2011,with her children at her side. She was born February 1, 1940, in Butler, Pa. and was the daughter of Leland F. Iman and Florence L. Ditz. Ellen graduated from Butler H.S. in 1958 and in 1993 from M.C.C, Mesa, Az. with a degree in Interior Design. Survivors are her children, Tracy Rutledge Madison (Chris); Frank Rutledge lll (Jean); Christy Lynn Rutledge; grandchildren Addison and Jackson Rutledge; siblings, Joanne Miller, Leland F. (Norma), Arthur E. (Harriett) Iman and former husband, Frank Rutledge Jr. She was preceded in death by Robert and Edna Iman and Ralph Miller. Ellen enjoyed playing bridge with long time friends and had a passion for gardening and cooking. Memorial services are Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 3:00 pm. at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson, Mesa, 85202. Donations to Hospice of the Valley are requested in lieu of flowers.

Frank, I am truely sorry for your loss but your Mom is at peace now and not suffering anymore and memmories are forever.
Take this time for you and your family to heal, love, cherish every moment, spend as much quality time with your family, and remember that your Mom will always be looking after you and your family and will always be with you.

Frank and Family,
I wish I could offer you and your family words to ease your pain during this difficult time, but words cant replace your loss. Even though your mother has gone on to a better place she will live in your memory and in your heart for the rest of your life. Take time to reflect back on all the good times you shared with her and other family members. In memory of your mother, my wife, daughter and I would be honored to make a donation to the Ryan House. Know that you have a great support group here at work and talk to us when you feel the need.
