I have only known Alex as my Uncle Ecky and I will always remember him that way. He was a man of great humor and lively personality. His positive attitude and good humor always lit up any room he was in and made all around him happy. I will always remember driving with him and my not yet at that time Aunt Charlotte in his Citroen to the Abbey Playhouse for his performance in The Pajama Game. I thought I was in the company of a "star" and he will always be a star in my memories. I hope he is now at peace with his brother Tom (my dad), his sister Ida, his father Morris and his mother Lena.

We could never wait for our theater experience in Philadelphia's Abbey Playhouse. Only, however, when Mr. Charisma, Alex Adelman, was mesmerizing audiences. . .

Such mesmerization was correlative to his life's charm and the ability to cause everyone to love him.

To equally match Alex Adelman's charisma is the love of his life, precious Charlotte, along with dear Roz, Marc, Seth, Jeremy, Jacob, and Toby and Hans.

To ask one if he will be missed is like answering another question--is the sky blue??

We will always remember Alex's great sense of humor, his friendliness and friendship, his appreciation and support for the arts, his hospitality to me and my husband as newcomers in Phoenix. Alex & Charlotte were the sweetest, cutest and hippest couple we've ever known. I want to be just like them when I "grow up." Alex has the most tender spot in my heart and will be truly missed.
