Courtney Cox-Zink Obituary

Cox-Zink, Courtney Corbett
39, died on April 2 in Phoenix after a struggle with cancer. Born in Akron, Ohio, she moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1977. Many will remember her for her care of residents at The Stratford; others for her love of karaoke and hiking. She leaves her son, Joseph Corbett of Honolulu, and a stepson Michael Zink, II, son of her husband, Michael Zink, Sr. of Phoenix, AZ. Courtney leaves also parents, Lawrence and Meredyth Corbett of Honolulu, HI, and Deborah Andersen of Ravenna, Ohio; and brother, Matthew Corbett and his family of Goshen, IN. Services will be at the Freeway Baptist Church, 8501 N. Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix, AZ, on June 4 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sherman Home. 5801 E. Mayo Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85054 or Arizona Human Society, 9926 N.13th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85021. Messenger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary is handling arrangements.

I knew Courtney since 1991, met her in Scottsdale, AZ. Very beautiful woman inside and out.
I saw the other article last year but did not come across this one until today. I was
shocked when i saw it last year.
I am deeply saddened by this. My heart goes out to her family.
