Jim and his wife Darcy are dear and long time friends. I met them in the choir at Valley Cathedral years ago. When times were hard for me Jim Godfathered my middle daughter Daphney. He and Darcy took her on as their own. Helped her through High School, let her help with one of Jim's home construction projects, let her work for them, taught her a great work ethic, loved her as their own. I don't know what I would of done if their loving knowledge of our precious Lord Jesus Christ had come to rescue and help me with one of my children in a crisis in my life. I love Jim and Darcy for all of the great times. I even worked for them. We would have lunch breaks and Darcy would make one of her gourmet meals and we would talk and joke over lunch. On a few occasions I thought I was going to have to send them both to their rooms!!!! That was the good times when they shared themselves with me. They helped me many times. We were in an accident out of town and they were right on it. You could not ask for a more loving and God fearing couple of people. They would and will do everything they can to help people in need and their friends. I count it a very high priviledge to have known and shared time with Jim. A few weeks before he went to his mansion that was created just for him, we were able to share moments with the Lord. Jim was ready, he was at peace, yes he voiced how he would miss his lovely wife and his children and his precious grand and great grandchildren whom he loved very dearly, but, it was his time. We will all miss and love him. He was a great man to know! Angie Kelly

So many memories from so long ago. I will never forget the sacrifices you and your family made for me. You let me become part of your family when I'm sure it wasn't always convenient (I was a teenage girl, after all!) You made sure I was introduced to the Lord. For that I am forever grateful. And now, there you are before Him, receiving your rewards for how you gave. Blessings and comfort to the entire family. You are all in my heart at this time.
