Melvin Gates Obituary
Passed away on May 11, 2011, in Scottsdale, AZ. Mel had a long career as an aerospace engineer with Rockwell Aerospace in Chatsworth, CA. He was a loving husband and father. Mel enjoyed traveling, music and dancing with his lovely wife Charline, who preceded him in death in 2002. In later years, Mel resided in Scottsdale, AZ, where he was happy to re-connect with family and friends. He developed many wonderful friendships at Pueblo Norte, where he served on the activities committee. Mel is survived by his daughter Meline Knevel (An
dy), son David Gates III (Kathy), brothers Don & Wendall, grandsons Davey, Neil, Matt and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
