Mays, Donald G.
Don Mays who was born on 02/05/28 in Altoona, PA passed away on 05/15/11 in Spring Hill. FL. Mr. Mays proudly served with both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force - having served two tours of duty in Korea during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Mays then began a successful 28 year career with American Airlines - working in Washington, D.C., Phoenix, AZ and retiring in Dallas, TX. It was in Dallas, TX that Mr. Mays met his beloved wife of 30 years, Jo Mays. Survivors include his devoted wife, Jo, daughters Katharyne (Mike) Sweet, Cynthya (Dan) Mailinski, Nancie Haskett and son Rick (Jan) Mills, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family takes comfort in knowing Don was a man of strong faith and is now in heaven with his Lord and Savior. Services will be held at Nativity Lutheran Church, on 06/04/11 at 1:00 p.m., in Spring Hill, FL. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to The Williamson School, 106 S. New Middleton Rd, Media, PA 19063
