Mozelle Mitchell Obituary
She was born in Logan, Utah, November 4, 1930. Mozelle was the daughter of Edward Monson and Sarah Yeates. Mozelle worked for the Federal Government most of her adult life in a number of capacities. Mozelle and her husband (Gordon Stutesman), while in the military service, lived in Germany where twin sons were born. They also lived in many different cities in the United States. In Mozelle's retirement years, she became an expert in searching for her ancestors who came from various parts of the world. Mozelle was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Stutesman, her husband Basil B. Mitchell, a son Craig Gordon Mitchell, and a brother Edward Gary Monson. Survivors include: two sons Gary Merle Mitchell (Chong) and Douglas Yeates Hancock (Carolyn) (OR), daughter-in-law He-Young Mitchell, three granddaughters, Jenifer and Jessica Mitchell and Ashley Hancock (OR), two grandsons Michael and Jonathan Mitchell, plus two sisters Joan Monson Murray (OK) and Gayle Monson Hancock (UT). Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Visitation will be held at 11:00 am followed by Funeral Service June 1, 2011, at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ. Interment will follow. www.greenacresmortuary.net

Gary and family,
I am one of Victor's daughters that lives in Iowa. I talked to your Mom recently about genealogy and was a pleasure to visit with her. Gary, the miles have never kept you and Rich from being a part of each other's lives. Be sure that tie will be there not only in the next few days but as you and Chung and the boys adjust to her absence. My heart goes out to you bud.
