Jean and her sister shared some info on their mother, Hildegarde, when I was initially exploring Karkow family history, and provided photos of my great aunt. I will always be grateful, *Tom Karkow, Racine-WI*

Dear Marcia,
Hearing about your mother's passing brings back so many childhood memories growing up at 18 Slaytonbush Lane. Your mom was so nice, easy going and seemed to really enjoy life. She was always so welcoming to your friends, like myself who practically lived at your house. She made us lunches, took us for overnights in Cooperstown, and drove us all over town in her blue jeep. God bless your mom. My prayers and sympathy are with you and your family. Your Friend, Beth Paladino Everson
