Robert Crouch Obituary

Crouch, Robert L.
"My Dad" 86 years old, of Peoria, AZ taught me the love of Jesus Christ, compassion for others, the appreciation for nature, camping, photography, fine arts and model trains. He deeply loved his family, friends, pet birds, fish and dogs. Robert was a kind and loving father, father-in-law, and most of all a great husband for 57 years to my mother, Rosemary. They were members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (20 yrs.) and Community Church of Joy (25 yrs.). They also were members of Phoenix Ad Club, Hobo's and Copper Stars Camping Clubs, and "Saddle Sores" Riding Club. Robert was proud to have served in the United States Army. He graduated from Syracuse University and had a career in advertising. The power of prayer got us through 18 years of the Alzheimer's disease that challenged Robert. He's in the arms of God now, safe and healthy once again for eternity. We will miss "My Dad", your daughter, Robin and son-in-law, Steve Grass. Graveside service will be at 10:30 am on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the National Memorial Cemetery of AZ, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Contributions can be made to Chaplain Ministries, c/o AZ Baptist Retirement Centers, 11315 W. Peoria Ave., Youngtown, AZ 85363-9988. Please visit www.hansenmortuary.com to send online condolences.
