Linda Heller Obituary

Heller, Linda Z.
76, of Phoenix, formerly of Hampton, VA and Plattsburg, NY, began her journey to eternal life on May 28, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents Philip and Lillian Singer. She is survived by her beloved husband Mort, devoted daughter Nettie, sons GuyGuy, Steven and John, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her Red Hat sisters and friends. Linda touched the lives of everyone she met and her smile will remain in our hearts forever. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 1st at 11:00 am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd in Phoenix. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.

Well, I said that I wouldn't get on the computer or phone today, but, I just came back from visiting you at the Memorial Cemetery. You just can't imangine how many people were there, I had to walk about 3/4 of a mile after parking, but you were worth it. Guess you liked the red and purple flower's I brought you. (RED HAT) I spoke to you about Nettie, Guy, Steven and John as to how they all miss you, I also guess you laughed at the joke I told you. Shhh, don't tell anyone else, it's just between you and me.

One year has gone by since God called you home Mom..I miss U more and more each day. I miss coming in from the patio in the early morning to go to bed and see U sitting in your chair watching the news or QVC with Pepper fast asleep on your chest,under his blanky, and then asking me to get U a glass of juice. Just a note to remeber you today.. family and friends of Linda.. I missa ya Linda.. went over emails read them. Look at our pictures.. remember the short time we had as friends. WE were even together.. me, you and Mort.. in Sedona when I found out I was a grahdma in waiting.. and its a boy. Nik is now 4 1/2 yrs old.. Our red hatting, children, grandchildren.. even our furbabies we shared a lot in such a short time. Thank you.

To the family of Linda Z. Heller,

I would like to extend my deepest condolences for your loss. It is always hard to lose a loved one, whether we are 'prepared' for it or not, as we find that we are NEVER 'prepared.' While we are often relieved that our loved one is no longer suffering or in pain, we still feel their loss with a void in our hearts.

I did not know Linda, but a Red Hat sister, Karol, did, and she has shared her sentiments with us and as Red Hat sisters, we are all 'family' and come together to support our sisters and their families during their time of grief.
