I knew Don from January 1966 till his passing in 2011. I worked with him for nearly 30 years. He was one of my best, dear, friends for all those years. I miss him every day and will never forget him. Rest in peace Donnie, I miss you.

Don,
I had always hoped this day would not come, but it did. You were my best friend during the good and the bad times. We shared our friendship since January, 1966. 45 funny, sad, surprising, and sometimes shocking years.
I regret none of them. I only regret it has ended.
I am sure you are giving God fits, now that you are fitted with wings.
We are celebrating your life today with your family & many TWA employees (Retired mostly) Yes we are going to share the tales and stories about you with your family. It will be happy occasion for everyone involved.
Today will help bring closure, however you will never be forgotten.
I will miss you for the rest of my life.
Hopefully I will see you again some day.

Your best friend

Mike
