Orson Smith Obituary
Orson George Smith who was born on 02/09/1943 in Rexburg, Idaho, passed away quietly on 05/28/2011 in Mesa, Arizona. George worked for Triple-S Gunite and Paddock Pools as a supervisor, then became self-employed, known as Mesa Gunite. George's greatest passion was riding his Harley across country. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce Smith; daughters: Lynette Vega and Shana Smith; sister Marie Istead; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Orson Loren Smith; granddaughter Rachelle Marie Sloan; grandson Richard Hall Nottingham. George is now with our loving Heavenly Father. Services for George will be held Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Fremont Hill LDS Ward Building, 6942 East Brown Road, Mesa. A Viewing will be 2 hours prior. Meldrum Mortuary handled the arrangements.
