Michael Whitehead Obituary
Michael J Whitehead, 67, of Mesa, AZ passed away May 28th, 2011 in Mesa, AZ. Mr. Whitehead, a retired Vice President of Engineering was born in Southport, England. Survivors include his wife, Sharon, daughter, Jill Nowak, son, Shayne Whitehead, and granddaughters, Abby, Allison, and Avery Nowak. He was preceded in death by daughters, Michelle and Denise. Service at 11:00 am on June 4th at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 2213 N. Lindsay Rd. Mesa, AZ. 85213. Memorials in his honor may be sent to the Salvation Army. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home (480-832-2850).

Dad, thank you for all you taught me. It's not so amazing you rebuilt the apt building from scratch, but that you taught me to do the same. I'm forever grateful for what I learned from you and will seriously miss sharing with you all the home improvment projects to come. Shayne.

Mike, you were a great brother-in-law. It was fun to play sudoku with you and go fishing. I also loved competing with you between the Seattle and Arizona football and baseball teams. I'll miss the good times we shared.
