David & family - I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I loved him dearly and played many hilarious rounds of golf with him. I'll never forget how hard we laughed when Fred left about 8 shots in the trap before we told him he could have taken a drop! Jack reminded me so much of my own father. Their golf swings were almost identical. I hope they are playing a round of golf together in the next life, and I hope one day I can join them again.

R.I.P. my friend. Jack was the best next door neighbor I ever had. We became good friends after I moved to Daffodil in 1995. We used to have a lot of grand talks just sitting around with glass of scotch or bourbon. He teased me about my old Cadillac and I teased him back about his old Lincoln. It sure was a very sad day for me when he sold that house and moved. My deepest condolences to the family. We'll all miss you pal!

My condolences to the Bensted family on the loss of Jack. I'll always remember Jack as a true gentleman and one of my favorite golf buddies. I always looked forward to a fun time when I saw that Jack was in my 4-some. One of my favorite golf trips was when Jack joined us to go to the 1999 Masters in Augusta GA and then we went to Charleston S.C. for 7 days of golf. That trip will be how I remember Jack; living life to the fullest and always having fun. Take care.

Although I had not seen Jack for 20 years, I was a family friend and frequent dinner guest at the Bensted's in the 70's and 80's. Jack and I even took a vacation back to my family farm in Ark. one summer. He was a big hit with my family. He even bought a 4 wheel drive truck so we could play in the desert. Then, there was the time Jack and I went to Tampa Florida on business and missed three flights home, due to some urgent business in a local pub. :>) We had tons of fun together back then.
David and Susie, I'm thinking of you,

My condolences to the entire Bensted family on the passing of Jack. Jack will certainly be missed by all. I worked with Jack at Motorola and played golf with him in the Motorola 5Gs golf league for many years. I especially remember his laugh and great personality. It was truly enjoyable to share a round of golf and a beverage in clubhouse afterwards with Jack. Hopefully his family can find strength in the many great memories.
