Robert Nicholson Obituary
83, of Sun Lakes, AZ passed away on May 29, 2011 with his family at his side. He will be missed by his family and his many, many friends. He was a Navy veteran and retired after 27 years with Salt River Project. Robert was very active in El Zaribah Shrine, Order of Quetzalcoatl and Royal Order of Jester. He was a member of Scottsdale Masonic Lodge, Sun Lakes Shrine Club, Hillbilly Clan #65, Sun Lakes Rotary Club, Chandler Elks #2429 and Local 266 IBEW. He enjoyed his summers up in the cool pines, traveling, golfing, playing his guitar, and spending time with his family and many friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, which everyone enjoyed. He was always willing to give a helping hand and proud of the many public service projects he helped, especially for children. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Peggy; his children: son Robert Nicholson and daughter-in-law Olvido, daughter Susan Hall, daughter Sharin Louis and son-in-law Clifton, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. A private family service has been held and a formal Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, September 20, 2011. Arrangements by Bueler Mortuary, Chandler, AZ.

Wow 12 years already you have left to be with our Heavenly Father. I lit a candle for you and said a long prayer, hoping you heard I think of you often and you come up a lot in conversation. Mom always says to me "you are so artistic like your dad". She also said, he would say "Can you vision this Peg" whenever you were working on a project lol and she would say "No Bob" i still here your voice when I would call and say Hi Honey or call mom Mommy when I would call and looking to talk to mom and you would her by that name. There isn´t enough words and I want to say I LOVE YOU and one day we will meet again xoxoxo

Nick's struggles are over and he is in a better place. We will miss him very much. Our prayers are with Peggy and family. We have enjoyed our associations with Nick and Peggy and the Sun Lakes Shrine Club over the years.

I am Nicks daughter Sharin and I can tell you he will be missed soooo much. I never thought this day would come and you would be gone. I will always remember you playing your electric guitar whenever I would come over to visit or as a small child. One day we will meet again and I will give you a Big Kiss and Hug hello. At the Q event in Casa Grande June 4th many members got up and told of their warm relationships with Nick. It was obvious how much he was respected and will be missed.
