Sondra Freitas Obituary
Sondra Weece Freitas, formerly of Visalia, California, currently of Avondale, Arizona, went to the Lord on June 4, 2011. Sondra was a pharmacy technician and owned Plaza Pharmacy with her husband. She then worked and retired from Long Drug after 20 years. Sondra was preceded in death by her husband, Don Frietas, her mother, father and two brothers. She is survived by her companion of 15 years; Albert Chaparro, her siblings LaVonne Weece Berry, Ima Weece Dirkse, and Kenny Weece; her children; Bretton and Amber Freitas; 8 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly. Sondra was very thankful to the inventor of Lipton tea bags and was a lover of Bologna sandwiches. She will be greatly missed and remembered by her friends and family. A visitation will be held, Wednesday June 8th, from 5-7pm at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 N. 27th Ave Phoenix Arizona, with Funeral Services the following day, Thursday June 9th, at 10 am. Dear Albert, What an absolute loss for you. Only meeting Sondra once I could feel her love and joy at being your soul mate. David and I both commented on what an incredible person and couple you and she are. I will keep you in prayer as I can only imagine how you are grieving. Sorry, is not enough when a loved one passes. I only found Sondra recently through Facebook. I went to grade school (7th and 8th grade) with her. Once we found each other we began sending e-mails. I was so glad to hear from her after all these years and now she is gone. I never knew her as the loving adult you all write about. I only remember her from my growing up years, but she was such a good friend that I kept her with me, in my heart, all these years. I will miss her e-mails and message talks. I know that her family and life long friends will miss her also. I lift you up to the Lord asking Him to comfort you and ease your pain by her loss. I will miss her.

Sondra and I were very good friends in our younger years. I was so glad we were able to get together last year. I now have even another memory of a special time with a special friend. Sondra you will be missed greatly. My deepest sympathy to Albert and all of Sondra's family. A loving friend Shirley(Price)Miller. May God give you comfort.

To Sondra's children and the love of her life, Albert, we will miss this angel but know in our hearts that heaven has gained a special one. My deepest condolences to you and my God Bless you all. She is running around in the clouds and rid of her chains of illness. I was so blessed she touched my life.
