Trudy Klemm
June 12, 2011
Saturday, June 11, 2011 "Eddie's Girls" Trudy, Vanessa and Kathryn, as Gene always introduced us, gathered to honor and share family memories at Lakewood Cemetary. While never trying to replace our deceased father Gene sat at the head of our mother's table for over 25 years, prouding serving as out stepfather. Before our mothers death "Mooney" was there every Christmas, Birthday (all holidays) and even for the birth of grandchildren. Touching humorous stories were shared by all. Flowers were placed in his honor. Also in attendence were: Ken Klemm: Husband of Trudy - Robert Klemm: Grandson along his wife Anna and their daughter Elizabeth and close friend Megan O'rear.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Kathryn, we feel as if we knew him hearing you talk about him over the years. We will be thinking of you.

I had the pleasure of being one of Mooney's step daughters for 25 years. Mooney had 4 step children when he married my mother Eddie Mae Vickers "Mooney": Our names were Howard Vickers (Mary Ella) - Trudy Vickers Klemm (Ken) - Vanessa Vickers Tharp (Charlie) and me: Kathryn Vickers. He had 4 step grandchildren: Amy Vickers Zdrowak - Heather Vickers Ritchie - Robert Klemm - Hunter Tharp. We will all miss Mooney in our own way. Hope to be able to attend a ceremony sooner than later I know he would have wanted that. Mooney you will be missed and all the friends I had that had the opportunity to have met you will miss you as well.
