My heart goes out to the entire Schoolcraft family. I am blessed to say that Hope’s son Darien Schoolcraft is one of my dearest friends. Seeing him and his mother together was amazing. I know they had a strong family bond, and cared about each other deeply. Know that in these moments to lean on your friends for strength and always remember how much we all care.

Our deepest sympathies go to Hope's family and friends, and especially to our beloved Kelly, Sean, Riley and Nora. We pray, that knowing we also are saddened at Hope's passing, will help ease some of the sorrows of these days. The memories that all of us will forever carry in our hearts of her smile, her laughter and her energy guarantee she will never be forgotten.
Hope, always the devoted mother, cared for her children in ways that placed her wishes and needs second to theirs. It is that special devotion to mentor her children that seemed to always drive her to self improvement and education. It is no surprise that she found a career where she could get her daily doses of her passions, education and children! We have little doubt that she will forever be watching over her children, grandchildren and students, walking beside them everyday. May God bless all of you and send his Holy Spirit to bring peace and comfort to you today.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Hope created so many wonderful memories for her students as well as the people that had the privilege of working with her. Hope was always more concerned about meeting the needs of everyone before herself. Her presence was always such a comfort.

Last Saturday as I was sitting on my patio, I was thinking of Hope and had a very heavy heart. I had a strong desire to know that she was okay with her new journey. A white dove landed on the pool deck and sat and stared at me as I was pouring out my grief to my fiance. It occurred to me, that was my sign from Hope; she was okay! That is exactly how she conducted herself in her earthly body, comforting others! God's Speed Hope!!! You will be missed!!!

My heartfelt sympathy to Hope's family. I admired Hope for all the many talents and skills she possessed as a great educator. I am profoundly saddened by her passing and will feel the loss of this great lady for the rest of my life. Hope was a fine teacher, colleague and friend. She rightly earned the title of Achievement Specialist at Borman School where the safety, education and rights of students were her constant focus. No one can take that away from her. Rest in Peace sweet angel.
