I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. DeJesus. His son, Andy, was a childhood friend. Andy and I share the same birthdate, and we played together when I used to stay with my grandmother in Tempe.
Mr. DeJesus was always great to be around. I remember seeing him as an adult, taking my kids to ASU baseball games. There he was, smiling away, sharing with me how the kids were doing.
My condolences to the family, and know your Dad and husband is happy in Heaven.

My sympathies to the DeJesus family. I knew Joe from the American Legion Post 2 in Tempe. He was always very kind to me and it was a pleasure to have known him. I'm sorry I didn't get to come to the service for such a sweet man. I will miss him and especially miss his hugs. God bless you JoeD. We all miss you already. Blessings to all his family as well.

I worked with DJ for many years at the Tempe post office. He always kidded me because I was from Chicago. He said New York was the " big city " Now he is going to the " big city " in the sky. May God rest his soul. He was a great guy.
