I remember picking grapes to make raisins with. A whole lot of those grapes never made it to raisins. I remember the irrigating of the back yard too, and walking in the water.... locusts, and stone head things. Lightning storms. Above all though, was the fun of playing with Grandma and Grandpa's flashlights, and Grandma calling me a pill. I felt so much love from Grandma and Grandpa.

Kevin, Kurt, Cheryl, Cherie, and Kerry, my condolences. I always enjoyed talking with your mom. It was great to see her enjoying herself and her family at Michelle and Jeffrey's wedding last June. She left lovely memories with many people.

Making Peanut Brittle, saying Grace at meals, shopping, fidgeting in the top drawer of "office supplies", picking grapes for making raisins, going through your jewelry box, mining for apache tears, "straightening" my hair, stuffing circuit boards, starting the stove on fire, first ever microwave popcorn... so many memories. You always made me feel special. I love you Grandma!!

My most recent memory of Illa was during Michelle's wedding. We sat next to each other during the reception. She was having a good time, she talked about baking cookies with Michelle and shared a couple of stories about Kurt and Kevin when they were just little boys. What I remember the most is the expression of love and pride on her face as she sat and watched her family talking and having fun.

My best memory of Ila is of Michelle's wedding day. We had a chance to visit and had a nice chat. She was really enjoying herself.
