Henry Maya Obituary
Born in Williams, AZ passed away on June 3, 2011 at the age of 75. Eldest of 9, surviving siblings are Samuel, Vincent, Jose, Rebecca Cruz & Esther Murphy. Devoted husband of 55 years to Carmen C. Maya. Blessed with 6 children, Pearl, Victor, Henry Jr. (Yuko), Diana M. Yanko (Bob), Adela Frate (Jim) & Darrell. Proud Tata of 17 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. Henry was a dedicated employee of APS for 39 years & faithful to his ministry work as a Baptized Jehovah's Witness. When he wasn't taking his grandkids to McDonalds, Henry was storytelling, coaching baseball & hot rodding, where he acquired the nickname "Skinny Chevy". He was a Breast Cancer Survivor of 9 years. Henry was admired by friends & family & will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held Fri. June 10th at 7pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 7132 N. 48th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85301. Interment on Sat. June 11th at 10am at Resthaven Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Palmaire Congregation or American Heart Assoc.

The Maya Family,
Thank you so much for the strength and courage your family has shown to us at Palmaire. Henry's example is one worthy of immitation. We'll all miss him Dearly.

Carmen and Maya Family,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all during this difficult time. Henry was such a humble man and a loving example for us all. He always had a big smile on his face when he greeted you and made me feel like a close friend of his always. He will be truly missed.
