William Postgate Obituary

Postgate, William Thomas
October 17, 1930 to June 5, 2011. Loving Husband, Father Brother, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather, William Postgate passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday Morning June 5, after a long illness. William "Bill" Post gate was born in Harrisburg, PA, to parents James Nicholas, and Irene Seary, and was the youngest of 5 children. After spending his boyhood in Johnstown, P.A., Bill married his wife Betty in 1951, and moved his family to Phoenix, Arizona. Nicknamed the "Duke" by his brother, Bill was known for his generosity and sense of humor. He was loved and admired by all that knew him, and he will be best remembered for his honesty, integrity, and belief in hard work. Bill is survived by his wife Betty, daughters Tere, Brenda, and Sherry, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. A memorial service
will be held on Friday, June 10 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 Thunderbird Road, Peoria, at 1:00 pm. Please sign our guestbook at www.heritagefuneralchapels.com.
