Richard Cady Obituary
Within just a month of his wife's death, Dick Cady, 96, passed away peacefully in his home, Freedom Plaza Retirement Community, in Peoria, Arizona on June 4, 20 11. Both Dick and Betty were West Seattle residents for 54 years, became Snow Birds, then became permanent residents of Freedom Plaza for the past 12 years. Prior to retiring to Arizona, Dick enjoyed a 36 year career in the mortgage/banking business for Coast Mortgage and retiring with Rainier National Bank. He continued to stay in touch with many friends, neighbors, and business acquaintances in Seattle up until the time he passed. Dick and Betty shared 69 wonderful years of marriage, and even though Dick's passing was sudden, the family is grateful that they are together again. Dick is survived by his son Jim (Judy), daughter, Suzanne, grandchildren Jeffrey (Laura), Justin, Jennifer, and great grandson Preston. A memorial service will be held for Dick and Betty on Friday, June 17th at 2:00pm at Freedom Plaza in Peoria, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in their memory to the Plaza del Rio Scholarship Fund; Apt 7777, 13373 Plaza del Rio Blvd.; Peoria, AZ 85381

Dear Jim and family:
Both Diana and I are saddened to learn of the recent passing of your dad..we are also sorry to learn about your mom. They were both very kind to us...your dad gave me my first job and I will always be grateful for that. We spent many fun times with your parents. They were fine people and they will be missed.

Hi Jim, We were so saddened to read about our dear, dear friend, Dick's passing. We had just had lunch with him on May 25. We will be at the memorial service next Friday. Mary Ann and John Mangels
